Conveyor

Conveyor is a simple-to-use multimedia-authoring tool designed especially for use by museum staff, educators and students. The system enables multimedia presentations to be built quickly and easily and by people with no understanding of computer programming.

We are currently developing a new, web-based, version of Conveyor ('Conveyor 2'), to find out more about the project, visit http://getconveyor.org.

About Previous Versions of Conveyor

Conveyor was initially developed as desktop software. This content refers to version 1.4

Conveyor puts the power to create multimedia into the hands of museum experts AND speeds up production time while lowering costs.

The Conveyor software is available to any UK based not-for-profit cultural or educational organisation for the cost of the CD, post, packaging and handling – total fee 50 Euros.

The not-for-profit ‘User License’ allows an institution to make an unlimited number of presentations for in-house and education outreach purposes but not for resale. A ‘Commercial User Licence’ is available – details upon request.

Conveyor runs on Windows and Macintosh platforms. It is available in English, various European languages and in Chinese (Mandarin).
