Theatre Museum
We were appointed by the Theatre Museum (a branch of the Victoria & Albert Museum) to design and develop the PeoplePlayUK website and, at the same time, to convert the Theatre Museum's existing website into a more attractive, usable and accessible site.
We re-styled the entire site, improving the navigation system to make it easier for visitors to find their way around the site. The site was given a consistent and coherent appearance to compliment the content. The content itself was restructured where necessary to make it easier to digest.
From a more technical perspective, we re-coded the entire site to ensure that it adheres to official standards for HTML delivery and accessible web content.
We also provided the Theatre Museum with a bespoke content management system which enables Museum staff to edit sections of the site in-house - a feature which allows them to ensure that details about current events and exhibitions are always up-to-date and accurate.
